Driverge offers three types of accessible Dodge Grand Caravan models that feature long- and center-cut conversions with rear- and side-entry options.

Full-cut, rear-entry Grand Caravans allow for two wheelchairs to be transported. Short-cut, rear-entry Grand Caravans allow one wheelchair to be transported. In both cases, wheelchair passengers access and exit the vehicle using easy-to-use manual ramps. All these rear-entry Dodges are ADA compliant.

The center-cut Grand Caravan is a side-entry van that allows the wheelchair passenger to sit in the second-row area while the third- and front-row seating remains unmodified.

Accessible Minivans

Driverge® ADA-compliant Rear-Entry with Standard Ramp

The Driverge Rear-Entries with a standard rear ramp are available with both long- and short-cut floors. Long-cut floors allow for two wheelchairs and short-cut floors are made for one wheelchair passenger. The standard ramp stores upright when not in use.

Driverge® Dodge Grand Caravan Flex4 Rear-Entry

This full-cut van features Driverge’s exclusive FlexFlat(TM) Ramp and 2nd row seating that can be folded then turned out of the way to create space for a wheelchair. The FlexFlat ramp folds flat into the van floor when not in use which creates space for a wheelchair or cargo.

Driverge® Side-Entry Power Conversion with Quiet Ride™ Technology

This popular wheelchair-accessible Dodge Grand Caravan significantly diminishes the sounds of conversion equipment often heard in other accessible vehicles. It offers a more pleasant driving experience that does not require drivers or passengers to strain to be heard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Dodge Grand Caravans safe?

Absolutely! The Dodge Grand Caravan received a four out of five stars rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Plus, Driverge crash tests every model of minivan van we upfit.

Are Dodge Grand Caravans available in All-Wheel-Drive?

Unfortunately, no. The work necessary to convert the van into one which makes onboarding wheelchairs easy and comfortable does not leave room for rear-wheel drivetrains, so all Chrysler conversion vans are front wheel drive.

How many passengers can be transported at a time in a Dodge Grand Caravan converted by Driverge?

The side-entry Dodge Grand Caravan with power fold-our ramp can accommodate up to six people including one wheelchair passenger and driver. The ADA-compliant rear-entry with manual ramp FlexFlat ramp can transport up to two passengers plus two wheelchairs; four passengers and one wheelchair user; or four ambulatory passengers. All noted capacities include the driver.

How long is the warranty protection on a Driverge minivan conversion?

For consumer owners, new conversions by Driverge are covered for four years or 50,000 miles. For commercial owners, a new conversion is covered for three years or 36,000 miles.
