the streets of New York City
In 1997, Driverge Vehicle Innovations started converting Ford Econolines into wheelchair-accessible vans used by businesses and local governments that needed help transporting people with disabilities. Recognizing the taxi industry’s need for smaller accessible vehicles, we produced the first of thousands of accessible minivans in 2010. To this day, Driverge accessible minivans are used extensively by major taxi and rideshare companies like the New York Port Authority, Uber and Lyft.
And we have only just begun!
